Network Security Investigations is an IT Security Company that specializes in Incident
Response, Digital Forensics and assisting Network administrators with securing their
networks.
We have our own proprietary Incident Response tools, and can work directly with
your IT team or with IT service providers as a sub-contractor, since large IT security
companies provide a host of services we specialize in the specific fields of incident
response and forensics, which most companies don't have extensive experience in.
Our forensic examiners can easily provide Law enforcement forensics (providing proof
of illegaluse of compnay system) and the more complex intrusion cases. Our forensic
examiners are US Gvernment trained and certified and either do or have held US Government
Security Clearances.
We assist Network Administators with our manages security devices, (an IDS and honeypot),
their are lots of good Firewall vendors out there and if needed, we will gladly
recommend some, and can recommend placement, but we are not a Firewall, router or
switch vendor. We can also assist in securing networks by providing a partial solution
to most networks weakest link, user education. The most effective tool against a
Social engineering attack is to increase your end users awareness levels, and we
believe that is best done with live presentation.
